Dr. Anibal Diogenes received his D.D.S. from the Federal University of Pernambuco in Brazil, his M.S. in Molecular Biology from the University of Nebraska, and his Ph.D. in Pharmacology and Certificate in Endodontics from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.Dr. Diogenes is a Professor and the Vice-Chair of the Department of
Endodontics and Director of the American Board of Endodontics.
He conducts translational research to better understand how to
resolve inflammation and pain resulting from root canal infections.
Dr. Diogenes specializes in microscopic endodontics, including initila treatments, retreatments, endodontic microsurgeries and regenerative therapies.
