About Me

Dr. EdwardKost received his baccalaureate in biochemistry and cell biology from the University of California at San Diego in 1983, and his medical degreefrom the F. Edward Hebert School of Medicine in Bethesda, Maryland,in 1989. Following residency training at Wilford Hall Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas, he completed both a research and a clinical fellowship in gynecology-oncology at the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri, in 1994 and 1996, respectively. Prior to joining the UT Health San Antonio, Dr. Kost was the vice chair of obstetrics and gynecology at Wilford Hall Medical Center. Dr. Kost is certified by The American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology in obstetrics and gynecology and gynecologic oncology.
