About Me
Dr. Jan M. Bruder is Professor of Medicine, Chief of the Division of Endocrinology and Program Director of the Endocrinology Diabetes and Metabolism Fellowship Training Program. She serves as Director of the Osteoporosis and Metabolic Bone Disease Clinic at the Medical Arts Research Center and is Professor of Medicine and Chief of the Division of Endocrinology at the UT Health San Antonio. The Osteoporosis and Bone Clinic provides assessment and care for people who have osteoporosis, calcium disorders and parathyroid disorders. She also sees patients with endocrine disorders involving the pituitary gland, adrenal gland and thyroid gland at the Texas Diabetes Institute (TDI) which is part of the University Health System (UHS) and at the Audie L. Murphy Memorial Veterans Hospital Ambulatory Clinic (VA). She directs the Bone Density Unit at the VA.
