About Me
As a family medicine physician, Dr. West evaluates, diagnoses and treats a wide variety of acute and chronic health conditions. Dr. West has a passion for providing outstanding and equal care to her patients to ensure that they feel heard and adequately treated. She enjoys building a rapport with each patient that enters her exam roomand works with them to build an individual care plan that best fits the patients goals and lifestyle.
Dr. West has been in the medical field in a variety of roles since 2003 but has always worked toward the goal of becoming a physician. While Dr. West is a Texas native, she graduated from the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine which was followed by a residency at the Institute for Family Health in New York.
Dr. West is an animal lover and advocate. In her free time, sheenjoys fostering animals, volunteering and traveling with her children and husband.
