About Me

Dr. Lee C. Rogers is the Chief of the Podiatry Division, Associate Professor of Orthopaedics and the endowed Louis T. Bogy Professor of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. Dr. Rogers is the past president of the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and still serves on its Board of Directors. He is the vice president of the International Federation of Podiatrists and the Associate Editor of the Journal of the American Podiatric Medical Association. Dr. Rogers has published over 150 manuscripts and book chapters on diabetes-related complications of the foot and ankle, including several consensus documents and guidelines. He has been named as one of America’s Most Influential Podiatrists by Podiatry Management Magazine and inducted into the Podiatry Hall of Fame in 2025. He has also been honored with the title Fellow Faculty of Podiatric Medicine at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow.
