Eastridge, CNS

Ms. Eastridge is an Adult Gerontology Clinical Nurse Specialist who in 2014 earned her Master’s Degree from the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio. She graduated with high honors and is a member of Sigma Theta Tau, the National Nursing Honor Society and since then has been employed in the Division of General Surgery.

She graduated from a Diploma Nursing Program at St. Lawrence College in Brockville, Ontario Canada in 1990 and received her bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Phoenix in 2008. She previously worked as a registered nurse in both the Cardiothoracic ICU at Baylor University Medical Center and in the Trauma ICU at Parkland in Dallas.

Ms. Eastridge previously worked as an Advanced Practice Nurse for a year in Family Practice (2015) prior to joining the UT Health Department of General and Minimally Invasive Surgery (2016) and has a special interest in pt’s needing surgical weight loss and those diagnosed with gastroparesis. She has been with UT Health San Antonio since 2016 and works closely with the resident team, General Surgery staff, and attending surgeons providing care to our surgical patients.

She is a member of TABS, ASMBS, the ANP, and successfully passed the ASMBS APP Advanced Practice Provider exam certification
