About Me
Dr. Matthew Butler is a faculty member of the division of hematology and oncology. Dr. Butler grew up in Nova Scotia, Canada, and worked in Toronto as a software developer before starting medical school. He completed his specialty training at UT Health San Antonio with a focus on blood cancers. His practice covers the full range of blood disorders, with a special interest in multiple myeloma. His clinical research focus is aimed at finding better treatments for malignant lymphomas
