About Me

Dr. Randy Wright graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy and served in the U.S. Navy. Hemoved to San Antonio in 2000 and completed medical school, internal medicine residency, and gastroenterology fellowship at the UT Health Science Center. His interests are upper endoscopy (EGD); colonoscopy including colon cancer screening and polyp removal; balloon assisted small bowel enteroscopy; capsule endoscopy; Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD); and general gastroenterology including diseases of the liver,esophagus, stomach, small bowel, and colon.He is active in training GIfellows and a member of the UT/CTRC Cancer Genetics and High Risk Cancer Screening Team.
