Dr. Thais Santiago Phillips is a Clinical Assistant Professor at UT Health San Antonio and Co-Director of the Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency program. She is known for her refined approach to esthetic and digital dentistry, combining advanced technology with personalized, high-level care.
She completed a three-year AEGD residency and earned her Master of Science in Dental Science at UT Health San Antonio. Dr. Phillips received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from São Paulo State University (UNESP), where she graduated near the top of her class with honors.
Dr. Phillips specializes in comprehensive dental care, smile design, full-mouth rehabilitation, implant dentistry, dental surgery, and minimally invasive esthetic restorations. She is licensed in IV moderate conscious sedation, allowing her to provide comfortable, stress-free care for patients with dental anxiety or complex treatment needs.
A published researcher and national speaker, Dr. Phillips mentors residents and leads the esthetics and biomimetics curriculum within the AEGD program. She is deeply committed to elevating patient experiences through innovation, precision, and compassionate care.
